Our Organization (or lack of one):
We have been together as a church since January of 2001. There are about 20 of us who meet regularly. We do not have a membership roll, as such. (You cannot join the church of the Lord Jesus Christ; you must be born into it.) We have no business meetings and have no committees. We have never voted on anything. We believe in the scriptural concept of elder rule. When we need to make a decision about something effecting the life and ministry of the church the men meet and discuss the issue until they reach a consensus about it. Other, less important matters, are handled the same way, the people involved forming the discussion group, often including the entire church.
